María Luisa "Malu" Trevejo (/trɛˈvɛˌhoʊ/) is a Cuban-born Spanish internet celebrity, dancer, singer and songwriter based in Miami, United States.
[2] She initially rose to fame as an Instagram personality with more than 7 million followers, and a user with over 2.5 million fans[3][4] before gaining a following as a singer.
On September 22, 2017, she released her debut single "Luna Llena" through Universal Music Latin.
This song has acquired over 85 million views on her YouTube channel. Not long after, she released another single "En Mi Mente" which has surpassed 10 million views.
In April 2018, she was featured in a collaboration with up-and-coming English pop singer HRVY, called "Hasta Luego", which already has over 40 million views

Early life:

Malu Trevejo was born on October 15th, 2002 in Havana, Cuba to a Cuban mother and a Spanish father.
[1][6][7] Shortly after her birth, she and her parents moved to Madrid where she lived for 12 years.
[8] She later relocated to Miami with her mother.
[9] After the start of her music career, Trevejo enrolled in a home school program.
She suffered bullying in middle school


Her debut single "Luna Llena", which was produced by The Fliptones,[8] reached 33 million YouTube views within seven weeks of release.
[10] Trevejo was recognized as one of Pandora Radio's 2018 Latin Artists to Watch.
[11] Trevejo has stated that her upcoming album will be Spanglish, including both English and Spanish-language songs.
[7] In June 2017, she signed a recording contract with In-Tu Linea, a division of the Universal Music Latin Entertainment label.
[8] "Luna Llena" debuted on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart at 27 and sold over 2,000 downloads at the time.[12] There's also a re-make of the song called "Luna Llena (English Version)" for people who don't understand Spanish.
On August 2, 2019, Trevejo released a four-track EP called Una vez más.
