Josie Maran (conceived Johanna Selhorst Maran; May 8, 1978) is an American model, performer, and business person.

Maran was conceived in Menlo Park, California. Her dad is of Russian-Jewish lineage. Maran went to Castilleja School, an all-young ladies school in Palo Alto, California, from grades 6 to 12.

While she was still in secondary school, Maran was drawn nearer by a lady who approached her for a demonstrating performance[clarification needed] in San Francisco, and an exploring specialist urged her to seek after displaying professionally. Her first cover was Glamor in 1998. In 1990 an appendectomy left Maran with a discernible scar that is regularly altered out of photographs.

Marked at age 17 with the Elite demonstrating office of Los Angeles, Maran showed up on her first cover with Glamor magazine in 1998; she was then the highlighted Guess? In 2004, she showed up in three movies - as a French model in Little Black Book, as one of Dracula's ladies, Marishka, in Van Helsing, and quickly as a cigarette young lady in The Aviator. Maran showed up in a short film "The Confession" nearby Wentworth Miller in 2005, and as Kira Hayden in The Gravedancers in 2006.

Maran showed up in the road hustling computer game Need for Speed: Most Wanted discharged in November 2005. She played Mia Townsend, who controls the player's character through the game.She likewise voiced the character of Annie in the road dashing PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 diversion Midnight Club: Los Angeles discharged in October 2008.
