Gisele Caroline Bündchen(/ɡiːˈzɛliː ˈkæroʊlaɪn ˈbʌndhən/; Portuguese articulation: [ʒiˈzɛli kaɾoˈlini ˈbĩtʃẽj], German elocution: [ɡiˈzɛlə kaʁoˈliːnə ˈbʏntçn̩]; conceived 20 July 1980) is a Brazilian model and performing artist.

Since 2004, Bündchen has been among the most generously compensated models on the planet, and starting at 2007 was the sixteenth wealthiest lady in media outlets. In 2012, she put first on the Forbes top-gaining models list. In 2014, she was recorded as the 89th Most Powerful Woman in the World by Forbes.

In the late 1990s, Bündchen was the first in an influx of Brazilian models to discover universal achievement. In 1999, Vogue noticed "The Return of the Sexy Model", and she was credited with completion the "heroin chic" period of modeling.[citation needed] Bündchen was one of the Victoria's Secret Angels from 2000 until mid-2007. Bündchen spearheaded the "steed walk", a stepping development made when a model lifts her knees up high and kicks her feet out in front. In a 2007 Vogue talk with, Claudia Schiffer expressed that Bündchen is the main residual supermodel.

Bündchen wandered into acting when she assumed a supporting part in Taxi (2004), for which she was designated at the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Movie Breakout Performance, and for Choice Movie Bad Guy. Bündchen had a supporting part in The Devil Wears Prada (2006), and from 2010 to 2011, she was the official maker of an instructive natural toon, Gisele and the Green Team.

Bündchen wedded New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in 2009. She bolsters numerous philanthropies including Save the Children, Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders, and also committing time to ecological causes. She is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Program.
